A renowned vehicle manufacturer was looking for a solution to optimize the company’s energy consumption. Data analyses led to a decentralized biomass combined heat and power plant as a sustainable solution.
The planning was based on the company’s own calculations, which envisaged a 200 kW power generation line. The technology included a wood chip boiler, water tube liquid salt process, piston steam engine and a modern flue gas cleaning system. The aim was the flexible use of wood chips and biogenic residues in the existing heating plant.
The system not only enabled energy self-sufficiency, but also considerable cost savings.
